Winter Haven is located at 718 S. Drake Avenue and is classified and licensed as a 3 - 4 bedroom Adult Family Home.

Winter Haven Assisted Living, LLC. aims to provide a safe, nurturing and caring environment to its residents in a setting that feels as close to being in the comfort of their own home as possible. Winter Haven Assisted Living is a spacious 2,500 square foot home with a lot of natural lighting, includes 4 large bedrooms, 3 full baths, a large living room with natural gas fireplace, additional sitting area, a sunny four season room, kitchen eating area and formal Dining area that is inviting and spacious enough to accommodate 12 or more adults easily and we encourage family members to join us for dinner on occasion at no additional cost.

Services Provided at Winter Haven Assisted Living, LLC.

For bathing and grooming, trained caregivers are happy to provide assistance at the level needed by residents, including but not limited to help in to and out of the shower, dressing assistance, toileting, incontinent care and provide services while helping to promote independence and privacy whenever possible and safe.

Winter Haven Assisted living is equipped with three full bathroom, tubs and showers are both available. The Home is also equipped with a walk-in bathtub and a bidet for residents needing more assistance and a safer, more comfortable alternative to regular bathing and hygiene needs. In terms of meal preparation, three healthy, home-cooked meals, and snacks are provided daily to the residents at Winter Haven. Residents are encouraged to participate in selections and meal planning. Winter Haven provides special diet accommodations when needed and as prescribed by resident’s medical care team. Special diet orders are respected and accounted for during meal planning in areas such as high blood pressure, renal or heart disease, as well as diabetes or other medical conditions.

Regarding your Loved One’s alertness and comprehension level, mobility and care needs, Winter Haven provides residents with entertainment, exercise and a health and wellness program tailored to meet individual needs and to keep residents busy and active. Some of the activities at Winter Haven include music therapy, board games, bingo, puzzles, and outdoor activities such as family picnics (where family members are both welcome and encouraged to attend), craft projects and gardening if of interest to resident, along with outdoor excursions from shopping to visiting the Wildwood Zoo and other community events of interest. Winter Haven works hard to be able to accommodate your Loved One with transportation to and from doctor’s appointments, shopping and religious worship services.
